Using a company owned Cirrus sound level meter, Geotechnology is able to accurately provide reliable noise measurements tailored to project requirements. Noise survey assessments can be undertaken as part of a spot checking exercise or to assess temporal changes in ambient noise over several hours or days. Such surveys are often undertaken in support of planning and Permitting applications to assess changes in land use and ambient noise levels.
Following data collection, Geotechnology is able to evaluate noise impact and predict noise levels using computer software packages. The practice can also offer a service to measure noise during site activities, to examine compliance against regulatory standards. Rapid reaction can be provided to follow up noise complaints so that the investigation is based upon relevant data.
