Geotechnology Ltd is committed to achieving the highest standards with regards to environmental aspects arising from its activities. In order to ensure these are met, regular review of environmental performance will be carried out.
Geotechnology has acknowledged these responsibilities by publishing and implementing an Environmental Policy and Environmental Management System (EMS). The EMS will evaluate relevant environmental impacts resulting in the setting of clear objectives with the aim of establishing continual improvement in environmental performance. Overall performance will be monitored by regular audits and annual reviews.
Geotechnology has identified that our current key environmental impacts are associated with:
- Energy use
- Raw material Use
- Transport
- Periodically assess our organisational activities and develop plans to avoid or minimise identified impacts
- Train employees in good environmental practice and encourage employee involvement in environmental action
- Use renewable energy sources where feasible
- Minimise waste through efficient use of all materials and energy
