High resolution gravity processing has to wring the last drops of significant gravity from large and complex datasets. The procedure commences with field processing, which we carry out with software developed by us for this specific purpose. By carrying out data reduction at the same time as data quality testing and validation we are able to monitor resolution and accuracy, setting confidence limits to the datasets.
Upon validation, the dataset is returned from the field for further processing prior to interpretation. Several corrections are made to the data to subtract the gravity arising from the mass of the earth, regional geology, the passage of the Sun and Moon and the effects of terrain, topography and anthropological features.
