Contaminated Land Assessment

Evaluation of land quality information gathered from ground investigations  is undertaken in accordance with current UK guidance and is centred on the development of a clear conceptual model that identifies all plausible site risks. Where required, computer modelling packages are used to assess, quantify and predict the potential risks posed by contaminants to human health or the environment. Where generic assessment criteria are not applicable or unavailable, Geotechnology is able to derive site specific assessment criteria. All results are conveyed to clients in a manner that enables the impact on site development to be clearly understood and management options defined.
